We are in the beginning stages of building a backyard cottage, and one of our big tasks is to replace and then demolish our current shed. Amy found some plans for a smaller shed that fits in our sideyard and we've been working on it for the past month. Here are some pics:

Hurray! The framing is done! |

Couldn't have built the shed without Sam and Chris! Thanks for the advice and the use of tools guys! |

Doors in place, roof in place, half of the trim in place |

Biggest goof of the entire build--I put a jigsaw blade sideways through the right front door (long story). I fixed it later. |

All trim in place, and I added a vent above the door |

Built-in shelves for tools, camping gear, etc. The area to the right will store shovels, rakes, pruners, etc. You know, tall stuff. |
The shed is nearly finished. We just need to paint it, instal the plywood behind the built in shelves, and then move the bikes and tools into place. This has been a fun project, but I'm glad I wont' be building the cottage too!
